1.This year, the prices of various metal and plastic templates have risen sharply. Construction companies that originally used metal and plastic templates have switched to wood templates that are more cost-effective, resulting in an imbalance between the supply and demand of wood templates and rising prices.
2.The increase in the price of auxiliary materials and raw materials for wooden formwork has led to a gradual increase in production costs. Because the sharp rise of various basic chemical raw materials this year, for example, the prices of ethylene, methanol, and formaldehyde produced by oil and coal have increased sharply, the prices of various plastics and rubbers in the downstream have risen sharply. The production of wooden formwork = A variety of auxiliary materials such as glue and plastic film are needed. The price of auxiliary materials has risen, and the production cost of wooden formwork has gradually increased.
3.The limited using of electricity has led to a decline in output, and fixed expenditures have not been reduced, which indirectly promotes the increase in production costs and prices. From the end of July to August this year, Guangxi experienced strict power rationing. The production capacity of wooden formwork manufacturers was only half of the original capacity, however the fixed expenditure costs such as the factory administration and management staff’s salary, and the depreciation of fixed assets did not decrease. The power indirectly rationing caused the increase in production costs. Manufacturers have to raise prices.
