I believe that many customers and friends have a preliminary understanding of our products, As a building formwork manufacturer, we will explain in detail the common problems of Monster Wood products, including in the factory and delivery to the construction site.
The raw materials we use is first-class eucalyptus core board, pine wood panel, and special melamine glue. Our typesetting work is done manually. In order to be more rigorous, we use an infrared correction device, which effectively improves the neatness of the layout. Most of our products are 9-layer boards, except for the outer two-layer pine wood panels, 4 layers veneer with glue is used inside, and the amount of glue is 1kg, which is made according to the standard of 13% content stipulated by the state. It has good viscosity and can effectively prevent the plywood from splitting.
After the veneers are neatly placed, the secondary pressing is required. The first is cold pressing. The cold pressing time is as long as 1000 seconds, about 16.7 minutes. And then hot pressing time is usually about 800 seconds. If the thickness is greater than or equal to 14mm, the hot pressing time is more than 800 seconds. Second, the hot pressing pressure is above 160 degrees, and the temperature is between 120-128 degrees Celsius. Because the pressure is strong enough, the plywood is more wear-resistant and durable, ensuring no degumming, no peeling, and repeated use more than 10 times. Regarding the size, the standard size specifications of building wood formwork are divided into: 1220*2440/1830*915, and the thickness is generally between 11-16mm,or as customer’ request. The production process and materials of our products are different, and the number of times of use is also different. The number of times of use of the green PP Tect plastic film faced plywood is more than 25 times, the black film faced plywood is more than 12 times, and the phenolic board is more than 10 times.
Question 1: What determines the recycle times of the plywood?
The using times determined by the performance of products. Monster Wood's plywood uses high-quality eucalyptus core, first-class pine panel, and the amount of glue is 250g more than ordinary plywood on the market. Due to our high hot pressing pressure, the board surface is not only smooth and flat, but also not easy to peel. The sawing density is uniform, and it can withstand high strength, light resistance, waterproof and wear resistance, which improves the overall construction efficiency during construction and saves building materials and the use of manpower.
Question 2: How to use can improve the turnover of construction plywood?
The way the construction plywood is used affects the number of using times. Before each use, clean the surface of plywood and apply mold release agent. When unloading the construction plywood, two workers cooperate and pry the two ends of the board at the same time to try to let the board fall horizontally. In some key projects, the workers can tie up the support board, so that the construction plywood can be gently removed to protect the corners. If there is the corners degumming, clean and saw off the board until like new. The storage and placement at the construction site is also very important. Through practice, it is found that if it is in the rainy and sunny south, the construction plywood is repeatedly exposed to the sun and rain, which is more likely to ageing, deform or degumming than if it is used every day, and the number of uses does not even reach the normal level.
Question 3: How to easily and effectively identify the quality of construction plywood?
The common identification methods in the industry are: one is to look, the other is to listen, and the third is to step on it, which is simple and effective, as well as the little tricks we have summarized as a factory for many years, the smell of plywood and the leftovers cut from the product.
The first is to see whether the surface of the plywood is smooth and flat. Observe the surface to see the amount of glue used for the plywood. The more glue is used, the brighter and smoother the surface will be. It can also be seen that the quality of the blanks and production equipment in the production process is good or bad. Then look at the treatment of the edges, whether the voids are repaired, and whether the paint is uniform, which is related to the waterproof problem during the use of the construction plywood, and can also reflect the technological level of the enterprise.
The second is the sound of plywood. The two workers worked together, lifted the two ends of the plywood, turned the whole board over with force, and listened to the sound of the plywood. If the sound is like the sound of the steel sheet fanning, it means that the hot pressing process of the board is well done, the intensity is high, and the louder and thicker the sound, the better the product quality, otherwise, if the sound is hoarse or like a tearing sound, It means that the strength is not enough and the structure is not good, the reason are the glue is not good and something wrong in the hot pressing process.
The third is to step on the plywood. For example, a normal plywood with a thickness of 8mm is suspended in the middle, and the two support parts are about 1m apart. It can effectively carry an 80kg adult who steps on the suspended part or even jumps without breaking.
As a manufacturer, we can also smell the quality of the plywood. The construction plywood that has just come out of the heat press has a fragrance, like cooked rice. If there are other pungent odors, it means that there is a problem with the proportion of glue, too much formaldehyde or not using phenolic glue, and the product quality is not good.
There is also the observation of leftovers and the edge of the plywood that is picked up by the edge-cutting machine. This is more real than looking at construction plywood samples or listening to manufacturer descriptions. First look at the compactness of the plywood and estimate the weight. The heavier the weight, the better the compactness and the better the product quality. Then break it to see the fracture. If the fracture is neat, it means that the plywood is strong; if the fracture has many burrs, or even delamination, it means that the quality is not so good.
Question 4: What are the common problems in the production of construction plywood? How to prevent the construction plywood four sides warped and bent?
The common use problems in plywood production are warped and bent of construction plywood, the corners degumming, bulging and the partial degumming, the glue spill, the core board stackup and the seam separation. The reasons for these problems are as follows:
The warped and bent of construction plywood is caused by the large internal stress inside the plywood, the inconsistent moisture content of the surface and back panels, the unreasonable combination of veneer of different tree species, the twist of the veneer, the insufficient temperature of individual hot-pressed boards, and the unequal stacking of boards.
The corners are degummed due to insufficient pressure caused by the wear of the corners of the hot-pressed plate, the edges and corners of the slabs in each interval are not aligned, the plates are placed skewed and the pressure is uneven, the edge of the veneer is insufficiently rotated, the glue relay is weak, and the edges Lack of glue at the corners, premature drying of the glue, insufficient temperature in the local area of the platen, etc.
The reasons for bulging and partial degumming are that the decompression speed is too fast, the glue pressing time is insufficient, the moisture content of the veneer is too high, there are blank spots when gluing, or there are inclusions and stains on the veneer, or the temperature of the pine veneer is too high, etc.
The reasons for the glue spill are that the glue is too thin, the amount of glue is too large, the cracks on the back of the veneer are too deep, the moisture content of the veneer is too high, the aging time is too long and the pressure is too large.
The reasons for the lamination and separation of the core boards are that the reserved gaps are too large or too small when manually filling the holes, the core boards are dislocated and overlapped when the boards are installed, and the edges of the pieces are uneven.
The reason for the peeling of the board surface is that the amount of glue is low, the dough is too thin, and the pressure is not enough. This problem can be solved by strictly selecting materials, arranging boards, using sufficient glue, and controlling the pressure above 160 degrees.
The reason for the white spots on the board surface is that the red oil is not uniform enough when the red oil is passed once or twice. During the inspection, the red oil can be manually added manually.
Question 5: How to properly store construction plywood?
If it needs to be stored for a long time, apply oil on the surface, stack it neatly and cover it with a rain cloth. After demoulding, use a plastic scraper to effectively remove the cement and attachments on the surface of the plywood immediately. Avoid sunlight during transportation and storage. Exposure to sunlight can easily cause the plywood deformation and aging. On construction sites, construction plywood should be stored on a flat, dry site, avoiding places with extreme temperatures and humidity.
